We continue expanding the compatibility of our COMBI-PRO-MAX backup system within the Huawei ecosystem. The Huawei MAP0 inverter has now been added to the list of already verified inverters, available in the SUN2000-(5K-12K)-MAP0 and SUN5000-(8K,12K)-MAP0 models. This new addition expands the options available for installers and distributors working with higher-power Huawei equipment in residential photovoltaic installations.
What the Huawei MAP0 inverter offers
The MAP0 is a three-phase solar inverter designed to power the home with green energy, with a 25-year service life and enhanced protection, enabling a continuous supply of green energy when combined with an energy storage system (ESS). Its technical features include:
- High overload capacity: withstands 100–110% overload in continuous operation, 150% for 5 minutes, and up to 200% for 10 seconds.
- Smart AFCI protection: cuts the DC arc in 0.5 seconds to prevent fire risks.
- IP66 protection rating and guaranteed operation between -25 °C and 60 °C.
- Built-in lightning protection, with no need for additional devices.
- Instant grid backup during power outages, when combined with LUNA2000 storage.
COMBI-PRO-MAX compatibility
Our COMBI-PRO-MAX is the compact backup box that activates island mode and protects the installation against permanent overvoltages and undervoltages, complying with the UNE-EN IEC 63052 / EN 50550 standard. When it detects a grid fault, it automatically activates the inverter’s backup mode and keeps essential loads powered; when the grid voltage returns to normal values, it reconnects the system automatically and safely.
With the addition of the SUN2000-(5K-12K)-MAP0 and SUN5000-(8K,12K)-MAP0 inverters, this backup capability is now also available for three-phase residential installations using these new Huawei models, expanding the options for installers working with higher-power equipment within the Huawei catalog.

- More options within the same brand: if you already work with Huawei inverters, you now also have the MAP0 series available as a backup option with COMBI-PRO-MAX, avoiding the need to rely on other manufacturers to complete the backup solution in your photovoltaic installations.
