MODULATION
OF SOUND

The CT6 tester emits an acoustic signal proportional to the magnitude of the measurement (Ohm, Ω).

modulacion sonido agudo

Acute signal

When an electrical contact is encountered, the equipment will emit a sharp signal.

modulacion sonido grave

Serious signal

If there is current leakage or bad contact, the sound will be severe.

modulacion sin sonido

No signal

If there is no electrical contact, the equipment will not emit a signal.

MAIN CT6 APPLICATIONS

CAPACITOR TESTING

By connecting the leads to the terminals, CT6 will emit an increasingly low signal, which shows that the capacitor is being charged.

diode testing

To test all types of semiconductor diodes, apply the test leads to the ends of the diode.

inductances and transformers

In these two cases, CT6 emits higher or lower acoustic signals.

water level and humidity detection

We connect one end of CT6 to ground and the other to a cable that we will run down the borehole. When the cable comes into contact with water, CT6 will beep.

testing, bypassing and stamping of electric motors

By connecting CT6 by phases to earth, we can detect shunts in specific phases.

BATTERIES AND TIPS INCLUDED

The best detector and ready to use as soon as you get your hands on it.
