14 May, 2025
Summary

On 6 May, at the opening ceremony of The Smarter E Europe – the energy sector’s largest trade fair alliance – our team took to the stage at the International Congress Center München to collect one of the industry’s most coveted awards. The distinction came in the Smart Integrated Energy category and rewards the innovation, vision and impact of COMBI-PRO-MAX, our compact backup box for photovoltaic installations.

At Intersolar 2025, Munich

Held from 7 to 9 May 2025 at Messe München, The Smarter E Europe – an alliance of Intersolar Europe, ees Europe, Power2Drive Europe and EM-Power Europe – reaffirmed itself as the world’s largest showcase for the energy transition: more than 2 700 exhibitors displayed innovations on 200 000 m² and attracted more than 100 000 professionals from 170 countries, placing Munich at the epicentre of photovoltaics, storage, electric mobility and smart energy management.

The best compact photovoltaic backup system

Real energy autonomy: Self-consumption installations now continue to produce and supply energy even when the grid goes down.

Express installation: Electricians only need to snap COMBI-PRO-MAX onto the DIN rail and connect input, output and inverter – no additional panels.

Cost optimised: A single device replaces separate contactors, relays and protections, reducing investment by up to 40 %.

Why this award is so important

The value of this award goes beyond mere recognition: by crowning the projects that contribute most to accelerating the energy transition, The Smarter E AWARD has established itself as the European benchmark for sustainable innovation. Winning the award involves a tough international sifting process in which an independent jury evaluates dozens of entries from all over the world for technological excellence and market viability, finally selecting only three winners per category. In addition, the award ceremony takes place on the eve of Intersolar Europe, the event that every year turns Munich into the global epicentre of photovoltaics and brings together more than 100,000 industry professionals, multiplying the visibility of the distinguished projects and immediately positioning them in the industry’s key showcase.
