The following are the 5 most efficient types of photovoltaic protection boxes for your installation.

Photovoltaic protection box unifying strings

Protection boxes for photovoltaic systems that unify strings, such as the ECO-DC, incorporate DC transient overvoltage protection, 1000 VDC fuse holder and output disconnecting switch.

These are panels where the different strings of an installation are unified in a single MPPT.

Protection box for self-consumption only for AC protection.

This type of surge protection box for self-consumption installations, such as the ECO-AC, only incorporates AC protection. They are designed to be installed at the output of the inverters and where it is desired to have separate AC and DC protections.

It consists of a 30mA type A differential (optional 300mA or type B 30mA) and an IGA with integrated transient overvoltage protections and optional permanent overvoltage protections.

Photovoltaic protection box with several outlets and disconnectors

The ECO-DC-INV-S protection panels for photovoltaic systems share the same main features as ECO-DC-INV. The only difference is that this model incorporates a disconnecting switch on each MPPT output of the inverter and does not include MC4 connectors.

DC + AC photovoltaic protection boxes

This type of protection box maintains the same number of string inputs as MPPT outputs, as well as incorporating both DC and AC protection, like the ECO-DC-INV-AC protection boxes.

Each string is protected with 1000 VDC fuse holders and DC transient surge protectors.
Inputs and outputs are made with MC4 connectors for faster and safer connection. It is intended for inverters with multi-MPPT management with different string inputs.

In addition. we protect the AC side with a 30mA Type A earth leakage protection (optional Type A 300mA or Type B 30mA) and an IGA with integrated transient overvoltage protection and optional permanent overvoltage protection.

Inside the switchgear there is a physical separation between the alternating and continuous components according to regulations.
